Buyer’s Guide to Choosing Suggested COVID-19 Cleaning Products

Suggested COVID-19 cleaning products include sanitisers and hygiene products recommended for supporting workplace cleaning and hand hygiene. Unlike independently tested COVID-19 approved products, the products in this category are not listed as independently tested specifically against the COVID-19 virus.

Insinc’s range includes alcohol-based and alcohol-free hand sanitisers, surface sanitisers and food preparation sanitisers from Green Rhino, Aerelle, Qualchem and D-Germ.

Alcohol-Based or Alcohol-Free Sanitiser?

Alcohol-based options include Green Rhino 75% Alcohol Sanitiser, Aerelle alcohol gel and spray products, and Qualchem Evap Alcohol Gel. Formats range from portable 50ml and 60ml containers through to 500ml, 925ml and 5L options.

Alcohol-free foam and spray sanitisers from Aerelle are also available where a non-alcohol formulation is preferred. Always follow the individual product label and manufacturer instructions for correct application and intended use.

Hand Sanitiser or Surface Sanitiser?

Hand sanitisers are designed specifically for hand hygiene and are available in gels, sprays and foams. Green Rhino also offers Food Prep Sanitiser in 5L and 20L containers for suitable food preparation environments.

Products intended for hands should not automatically be used as surface disinfectants, and surface products should only be used according to their labelled application. For infection-control requirements, check current workplace guidance and choose products with the appropriate testing, claims and specifications for the intended task.
